Displaying aromas of ripe pear, pineapple, tangerine and caramel, this is a classic Chardonnay from the Edna Valley. It is rich and creamy and bursting with tropical fruit flavors. Refreshing acidity keeps the wine lively on the finish, a signature of Paragon Vineyard, it is balanced by the excellent accompaniment of vanilla bean and toasted oak.

The 2017 vintage came as a relief as it was the first after years of drought. Rain in the early part of the year replenished soils. This, along with the cool-climate, ensured these grapes were not impacted by heat spikes that affected other areas of the state as harvest approached.
