The 2021 growing season featured a mild summer which allowed the grapes to ripen slowly. Heat waves and rain spells were limited, and the harvest was slow and cool. As a result, this vintage shows exceptional quality and elegance.
Mother Nature is intriguing and elusive, reigning on high with grace and beauty. Coming om our SIP Certified Sustainable vineyards in the cool climate of San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley, this wine showcases the generous gis of Mother Nature. Our vineyards are less than 7 miles inland from the deep, blue Pacific Ocean. The ocean influence ensures that Edna Valley is one of the coolest growing regions in California. The unusually long growing season allows Chardonnay to ripen fully while maintaining a naturally high acidity. We show our respect to Mother Nature by creating this quality wine that exhibits the true elegance of Chardonnay om Edna Valley.
