Big toasted oak, marshmallow, pear, pineapple, and buttery aromas. Our El Gordo Chardonnay has a rich, creamy mouthfeel with flavors of dried apricot, vanilla and a touch of nuttiness. This golden hued and full bodied wine has an oaky sweetness and is smooth, and silky. Flavors of honey and cotton candy are prevalent throughout the wine as well as on the finish.

In 2020 the Edna Valley experienced a slower start to summer, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly. The region saw much warmer temperatures later on in the season, which accelerated ripening, making a unique vintage with bolder characteristics.
